Since 1994, Badiarov Violins has been serving its clients from locations in Brussels, Tokyo, and now in The Hague, helping Classical and Baroque violinists worldwide elevate their performances with unique instruments based on centuries-old cultural traditions. In the past, Dmitry has donated and sponsored instruments and worked with sponsors willing to help musicians find their unique voice, creating even richer musical experiences for a more connected, happier world.

It’s time we filled those with harmony, because what’s the opposite to harmony?
Who Are The Clients
Badiarov Violins’ clientele consists of both men and women, ranging in age from the early 20s to above 50. Some create opportunities for other musicians, create chamber ensembles and orchestras. Over 90% of them have produced CDs as chamber musicians, soloists, and/or conductors. Well over 30% are considering recording new album in the near future, with 10% planning on recording and reviving unheard music. 80% percent of them contribute to the education of the younger generation of musicians and tour worldwide. Some are soloists, conductors, professors and self-employed musicians in the Early Music and Classical music fields focusing on chamber music performance. Testimonials are abundant on this website.
Why Do Musicians Need Support
For centuries, arts and music have thrived thanks to the support of princes or patrons. In fact, we cannot be 100% sure that we would have music as we know it today if not for this lady, Isabella d’Este, a humanist and trend-setter. She was the first to commission sets of instruments for the court, and by the end of her century, all courts had their own bands of violins. Which also gave rise to many music professions, including the first professional instrument makers.
Today, it is no different for those with an entrepreneurial mindset. Musicians need help urgently. According to research, nearly a third of music professionals experience mental health issues (The Guardian, 2023). Only 12% of the total music industry revenue goes to musicians (Business Insider, 2018), meaning not all have access to a good quality life or even fundamentals such as top-quality instruments. In 2022, The Guardian wrote that “music could wither“. Let’s reverse these trends, at least for some musicians. Money is an unlimited, abundant resource, while time is not. We cannot afford to waste talent of extraordinary performers or lose culture.
Psychographic Portrait
Musicians are generally interested in fiction, movies, sustainability, health, art, cultural traditions. Their agenda is practicing, practicing, and practicing, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with the exception of very rare short but stylish holiday from time to time. The primary reason they do what they do is to create common emotional experiences that elevate and inspire their audiences. An increasing number of my clients musicians have their own LLCs or an equivalent registered, which suggests that an increasing number of musicians dissatisfied with the order of things are becoming more entrepreneurially minded.

Email marketing plays a significant role in Badiarov Violins’ operations, boasting open rates well above 40%. Moreover, the company engages in regular Zoom calls with clients who require coaching support.
Sponsoring a Violin: What's In It For You
Supporting a talent will deepen your relationship not just with the talent, but hopefully with what you value too – Classical music culture. Imagine a venue with the musician you support, with a rich-sounding, beautiful instrument in their hands. Imagine standing ovations, happy smiles on the faces of the audience, tears in some audience’s eyes because the beauty your musician created on stage moved them, meant something, and this is something neither the musician, nor you, nor the audience will ever forget.
However, do let me know what is important to YOU. Tax benefits, tax breaks, feeling a certain way, adding value to the overall image of your brand, a private concert at your headquarters, owning the instrument in order to lend it to a talent you want to support, or giving it away, your company name on all of the materials at every location where the musician performs, your name on the label of the instrument that will live 200-300, maybe even 500 years. I am open to discussing ideas that resonate with you and are important to you.
What Makes Badiarov Violins Special
In a world dominated by copies of ancient instruments, Dmitry creates original instruments based on millennia of cross-cultural traditions that inspired the likes of the Medicis, da Vinci, Palladio, Stradivari. Because at Badiarov Violins, we believe there is more to art than making copies. The Badiarov models are free-hand-drawn based on Old Masters T.O.N.E.S. Technique, an ancient system Dmitry revived and used since 1994, which essentially allows translating mute measurements into sonorous melodies you can feel before the instrument was even created. This is why musicians from all over the world were falling in love with instruments of Badiarov’s work and buy them before they are even made.
What does your support mean to a musician?
Playing on a superior quality instrument makes any musician even better. This means they will play even better, save massive amounts of time. Additionally, playing on unique, story-rich, and rich-sounding instruments may save them time and money through earned publicity, raise funds, attract partnerships and collaborations, and ultimately enable them to do what they love the most – create music.
The Investment
I do not have sponsor packages because I know they do not work. Everything I do is custom. I want to hear about your goals so I could help you get what you need from supporting an outstanding musician, just for your budget. Cash, crypto, and cards are accepted. While some musicians can invest a significant part in their instrument, some may still need external help; therefore, the exact amount may vary. I am happy to discuss terms and your needs in person or on the phone.
