As a musician I always had the feeling being a musician is about just picking your instrument and expressing yourself freely.
Do you agree, yes or no?
As a violin-maker and designer I always had the feeling it is about just freely expressing and inspiring the same in musicians and audiences.
Free-hand drawn sometimes or almost always gets free-hand re-drawn on the go.
P.S. why two images of the same?
It shows the flaws in the modern tradition of violin making based on making copies from posters:
the inevitable lens distortion.
Which is why no poster represents the reality, and no poster-copy does either.
With all due respect to the above tradition, 25 years ago I made the choice to take a different route, study and revive the ancient free-hand method based on music to offer my clients something different, something more solid.
